Yeastimate is a small daily game. We collect as little as possible, and none of it identifies you as a person.

What stays on your device

Your scores, streak, calendar, unlocked breads and settings are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device unless you use the online features below.

What we store online

You can play without an account. We don’t ask for your real name, location or contacts, and nicknames are filtered to keep them friendly.

Where it lives

Online data is stored with Google Firebase in the UK (London) and the EU (Belgium). The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Both act as our service providers.

Cookies and tracking

No advertising, no tracking cookies and no cross-site tracking. We may count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or identify you.

Delete your data

Open the Bread Bin (your toast in the top corner) and tap Delete at the bottom. That removes your leaderboard entry, your club memberships and everything saved on your device, and if you have an account, your account and its saved progress too. You can also email us and we’ll delete it for you.

Leaderboard entries only keep your last 14 daily games.

Why we use it

Only to run the game: the leaderboard, streaks, clubs, accounts and multiplayer. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the game you chose to play, and for accounts, providing the account you asked for. We never sell your data, share it for marketing or send you marketing emails.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. If you’re unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
